AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Having undertaken a schooling in Revit today, I feel strongly tempted to switch to it.

In my country, there is massive support to do so: I already own couple of Revit licenses because of upgrading my ACA ones.

My only concern is the following: Is the nXt implementation to Revit as strong as the AutoCAD one? If not, is it going to improve? When?

Having looked at the default renderer of Revit (MetalRay) it is not bad also that you have pre-set scenes(unlike so many parameters to specify in 3ds Max) like day time, night time and quality of draft, medium, and presentation  mades it almost as easy to handle as Nxt.
It's a little better than what you get with AutoCAD, but not too much.  Many more options when you bring it into Max (VRay, Maxwell, better MentalRay, etc..)

The many options in Max is what I run away from and the lack of pre set in AutoCad not too appealing either. Will the handling as in Material defination and others be as easy as it is in Nxt?

Revit renderings of Nxt version I have seen is nothing compared to what we have here in the Gallery.

I wouldn't worry much about the Gallery stuff-- see if you can get a demo and try it out.  I think you basically assign an nXt material to each Revit material.  Let me know.
Will do.
