Does the latest build of the Render Farm software (344) work with nXt build 318?

Yes-- but I will be updating the farm software early this morning to take care of two issues-- the cylindrical decal mapping and the missing side by side files required for the farm monitor software.

I'm also getting this on two of the render nodes when I try to launch the farmer software:

Hmmm... that's not good.  Try installing this one on one of the nodes.  If it still doesn't work I'll need to investigate further.  Make sure you actually run the installer on the node-- don't do anything strange like copy installed files-- that won't work for sure.

The Farm Monitor is now available on all machines, but the Farmer fails to run on two of the render nodes.

I'm going to try and re-install build 315 on all machines to see if the problem still persists. If it does, then the problem is at my end.

If 315 worked before it should work again.  I'm going to try a rebuild then I'll get you a new link.

Yes. 315 Render Farmer works when I re-install it.

Here's the next one to try-- for testing purposes you only need to install it on the node that isn't working.  Let me know.

No, sorry. Still doesn't work.

The Farmer launches and shuts down immediately.

I may have found it-- building now.  Are you in the office for a few more minutes?

Yes. At least another 15. I can hang on a bit longer if you like.

Still no go I'm afraid.

"The wooden texture of the TV-Console looks quite decent. The Wallpaper on the left has an interesting structure, maybe it would look even better, if you make the texture seamless + applying a little bit of depth, e. g. with highpass - filter in PS?"

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More
