AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Is the NXT Render farm supposed to clean up after itself on farm nodes?  I have a bunch of xp machines that we are using for the render farm, they had 50g of disk space available on them, after running a render over the weekend, they have none.  In fact my one workstation just blue screened because of no disk space when I tried to do something on it to clear up space.  Now I am waiting for it to check itself and restart.

I noticed on my 64-bit windows 7 machines, who were also part of the farm, they had 9g of disk space taken up by the weekend render.  Is there any procedure to take care of this?  Should we be doing some kind of procedure to all the machines?  Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.

No-- they should be cleaning themselves up.  I'll check here later today to make sure the mechanism is working correctly.  The temp files are located in your temp folders, they'll be in sub-folders which start with nXt-.  These are the ones that should be auto-deleted.  They can be safely deleted once the rendering has stopped.

I think on XP the temp folder is C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temp by default-- don't quite remember.  On Vista and Win7 it should be C:\User\user\AppData|Local\Temp.

Let me know what you find there.

I did find a problem.  Working on a fix right now.
Ok, great! Thanks for the help.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
