AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Is there anyway to adjust the shadows from the Sun or lights?  They always apear too sharp for my taste.

This is a wish list item for me.

Also, there used to be a variable to adjust softness to an image.  Is this still in AR NXT?  For some reason I cannot find it.

(or maybe I am thinking of MAX)

Thank you!

Not exactly.  Sun shadows depend on the Cloudiness setting-- the more cloudy the softer the sunlight.  Light shadows are related to the size of the light source and the proximity of the shadow caster.  Bigger light sources will cast softer shadows (you have to let the thing run for a while to get the full effect.)

No setting to adjust softness (and I don't recall any in legacy versions either.)

Great thank you for the prompt response!

Podria usarse un canal de iluminacion para el sol y otro para un HDRI (usando este como iluminacion global). Asi podria hacer mas sutil las sombras
