AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Good evening, I´ve been working with the version AR3 since the last ten or twelve years, now I´m trying the nxt evaluation version.
Things like the interface, the material editor, looks great, but before to buy it I need to know if the things that I can´t do it´s because it is an evaluation version.

Here I left some questions:

- How I can change the resolution?
- Where it is the plants?, because the library is empty.
-There´s an easy way to set the views? In AR3 just pick points and enter values and then just walk with the navigator.
- About the ligths: it seems to be limited? I prefer to think that I don´t know how to do it.

Thanks.

Everything is enabled in the evaluation version except resolution is limited to 200,000 pixels and you cannot send jobs to the render farm.

You set the resolution either in WalkAbout or under Render Settings-- but remember, you will be limited in the evaluation version.

Some nXt plants are available here. This article may has some more information on using nXt and Legacy (ar3/4) plants.

Use the AutoCAD camera command to pick your points and set your initial view. Then switch to WalkAbout to navigate. That should give you something close to what you had before.

Some info. on lights is available here and here.

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
