AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Roy,

What did I do?

I've been using 254 bfor a while with no problem. Now all at once when I hit the walkabout button it flashes the walkabout window on the screen and disappears.

Must be time to go home for today.

Never mind, I guess I've never tried to activate the walkabout screen while in Acad paperspace before. Nxt don't like that evidently.

Yes i did break it. I switched to model space and got the walkabout back up but it renders a black screen. Completely rebotted my PC and reloaded Acad and still renders black screen.

If I render the same viewpoint straight from the autocad window it runs fine.

I dunno, time to go home, I'll think about it tomorrow.

Hmmm.... try loading a named view from AutoCAD then rendering.  Save a copy of the broken drawing by the way-- I'm very interested.

I have a named view that is set in the walkabout window. It is also displayed on my modelspace viewport. If I open the walkabout window it displays my model correctly but when I render it I get a black screen and it renders very fast like there is nothing there. If I render the same view directly from my Acad viewport it renders fine.

Acad file will be uploaded momentarily.

I never got the uploaded file.  Try again?

I loaded a different file this am and it renders fine from the walkabout.

So I reloaded the offending file and it still renders a black sacreen from the walkabout.

I can't figure out what numb skull thing I did. Probably some simple user error.

I may be off base here, but this would be quick to try.

Just a thought here but if you had set things up in paper space, you might try deletting your camera and reinserting a new one. It seems like there could be many potential problems from cutting a camera from paper space and inserting it in model space.

"The wooden texture of the TV-Console looks quite decent. The Wallpaper on the left has an interesting structure, maybe it would look even better, if you make the texture seamless + applying a little bit of depth, e. g. with highpass - filter in PS?"

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More
