AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Gentlemen,
I am working on a small residential scheme, and have to introduce few amendments "in real" time. As I use WalkAbout, and put additional trees, groundcovers, elements and change them continously - I can't see the changes in walkabout window in the real time. After switching wireframe/shaded mode no changed items appear - look like before edition.

Is this to avoid anyway? It would be nice to see added elements at once...  Any idea how to it?
... Or one should reload Autocad file every single time something was added/edited?  :)

Check out this old thread.

I notics too that at times it updates automatically by itself at times it does not. Also the fact that once I click the Walkabout view button in AutoCad 2015 it takes a long time for the model to load, hence when in a hurry I stay away from Walkabout and just do my renderings in AutoCad Window as far as AutoCad 2015 is concern this I do not experience in earlier versions of AutoCad.

While it takes about six minutes to load the model in Walkabout window in AutoCad 2015, it is instant in AutoCAd 2007 and and twice as long switching saved views within the same window.

I find this often happens when you are working in plan view in 2D wireframe style in AutoCAD.

It's a pain because 2D wireframe is much faster than 3D wireframe to work in.

You can avoid it by either working in a 3D view or switching to one of the other visual styles.

Thanks for the response, most times I work with multiple viewport.

I then make current the view port am about to render, mostly the camera, or two point perspective viewport both shaded in realistic mode. This still takes about 6 minutes to loaded as it is doing now.

Any solution to this long loading time in AutoCad 2015, yet?

Installing AutoCad 2016 makes this problem of long loading time in Walkabout Window disappear in AutoCad 2015.

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More
