most of the foreground plants are added in photoshop. I toned them a little as the light didn't quite fit the look I wanted. The background image is a local shot I tool of the site the house was built on. I did add a reflection in the windows and a bit of glow in photoshop as well. Saving out the material channel from the nXt image editor helps to make those selections.

The cactus seems to have a reflection which I do not seem to get or is it a mirage?

My eyes could feel the glare of the sun in your rendering, was this done with nxt IE or in photoshot?

Thank you!
I'm not using nXt plants on this image. There are All but a few of the plants near the building are legacy plants. the plants in the foregrounds are done in Photoshop.

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
