12 lights at what wattage?

How many passes?

Really I have around 30 lights or so in my interiors and my limitation in processing power keeps me away from path tracer.

Do us all a big favour can you share the materials, with all their maps?

The processor is a single quad and not duo?

At what resolution?

"the joints are modeled". A layer on top of the stones or is the whole wall (floor) drawn like real tiles?
And what are "peebles". My english is not that good.

Jan, for the tiles, I suppose you can do the same with displacement map (coarse grained dark for the joints and white for the stone), and a map of reflection intensity (black for the joints, and a variation of white-grey for the stones).

Thanks Jan. When the material is so close, I don't count on the bump for the joints, they have been modeled. A very little bump and reflection intensity map for the stones. You're right, the doormat has a displacement map, as the peebles to. The glass panel are made of ... glass, and I put an "acad region" with a cut drawing at 0.5 mm behind it. This face is in frosted water green glass. Around 2 hours render. 1 Intel quad 9550 2.86MHz, 8Go DDR3, Win7 64 bits, autocad 2010 and ... NXT packet tracer! ;o)
12 light in the drawing, but no sky and no sun. With sky & sun, much longer.

you really understand how to make your renderings photorealistic. Has a lot to do with correct use of materials i guess. How do you get the joints on the wall tiles so realistic? (no reflection) A bump map? I'm still struggling with problems like that. The carpet looks like it has a displacement map. right?
