One rather technical question: for safety reasons any main interior or exterior doors can't be opening (at least here in Greece) to a step (up or down). For many reasons. Is that different hight of entrance door sill intentional for some reason? Thanks.

I do not particular care for that detail as well. Depending where they finish the pour of the foundation some home builders like to leave some wiggle room so that the top of the door matches the height of the windows...
