AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello,

I'm new to this, I have been using accurender for Autocad 2014 for a couple of months. So I'm trying to render an exterior shot of a building but since it has a glass curtain wall facade, I would like the lights inside to show so some of the interior spaces or furniture is visible from outside. How do I do this?

I tried "interior daylight" setting as well as "exterior" with lights on. The best I got was a perfect exterior rendering with very dimmed lights inside so the interiors were not really clear. Please help!

increase the wattage and also render the lights on a separate engine ,once you are happy the results play around with the render engine setting value to suit.

Ok I understand. Which engine should I pick? I was doing it in Standard.

I'm changing the lights to be on a different channel to see if that works. Will let you know when I finish. Thanks!

correct different channel....its tricky ....but you will find the effect you after

Marcela,

See attached image - just HDRI sky, sun (0.6) with cloudness (0.6) and internal lights a 100W each. It was one of my first attempts to combine daylight and interior artificial lamps.

As Makki said, place the lights and sun/sky is various channels.

Then Save Multiple images. (One with great ID Lighting and another with daylight)

Overlay in Photoshop and erase off and get the right feel.

Also, did you know, that in the Channels, even though we have a setting of 1.000, we usually (i at least used to think) that 0.001 was the lowest ambient level on that channel. Actually it can also be 0.000001 and the daylight

really decreases to a minute level. It will however show as 0.000 because of Rounding off.

Attached is a Raw Render and the composed one for review with client hence exterior is "rough".
