walkabout resolution & function not working when rendering image

Hi everyone,

I need some direction here, i am trying to render an image and have just upgraded to Autocad 2016. for some reason the walkabout functions don't seem to work. i change the image size either pixel size or by measurement and the image still come up a really low resolution when i render it. Its driving me crazy. can anyone help?

thanks

That sounds like you are running in Demo mode. That happens when you are not licensed and the 30 day trial period has expired. Then the resolution is limited to 300000 pixels.

Do you have a current license for nXtRender?

Open the RPS License dialog and see what your status is:

If your trial period has expired and you don't have a current license, you would need to purchase a renewal here:

thanks Rich,

not sure why as i have the correct licenses. I have solved it now though. no sure how, i tried installing a previous version and then reinstalled the new version again and it worked. It didn't work the 4 previous times i tried reinstalling it though so im stumped.

Great!

Thanks for the update.

i have an issue with the new update 355. It isn't letting me do big files like 348 is doing. It locks up cad. How do i fix this? Going to try and reinstall. and yes i paid for the upgrade!

Send me one of your models, and I'll try it with the 348 and 355 versions and I'll see if I can figure it out.

Thanks.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
