I'm currently working with a very large 3d site plan. I've just started to create the layering system for adding materials. I've added a layer called grass and attached the material to it. When rendering it's just showing up as black and white. Anyone have any suggestions to why this is happening?
you might try the button in the upper portion of the materials tab in Nxt and select "remove all materials". Then pick the ground object. Sometimes this cures those sorts of issues. For some reason occationally an object gets arbitrarily tagged as 'by object" or "global". The remove all materials button seems to set objects back to "by layer".

If i sent you one or sets, could you "compose" one material as an example?
Maybe this is interesting for others too.."
