AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Wow!!!  I just discovered the AutoLisp routines for automating renderings.  I luv Autolisp routines!!!

Question:  I typically render using the walkabout feature because it retains my resolution, brightness, burn and saturation settings for a given named view.  The Autolisp routine appears to only work with with the render viewport option.  Is there a way to make it work with the the walkabout option?  Or perhaps there is a way for me to match the settings I have in the walkabout to the viewport option?  I've noticed that the named views don't match exactly with the viewport rendering.  I hope this is clear.

Please advise.  If we can figure this out it will be an answer to my prayers!

Regards,

Alex

No-- they don't work with WalkAbout at the moment.  You can promote the view to an AutoCAD viewport, but as you mentioned, they may not correspond exactly.  For exact correspondence you'll need to create layout (paperspace) viewports  whose aspect ratio match exactly the aspect ratio of the WalkAbout view.  For example, if you're rendering at 640 x 480 a layout viewport that is 4:3 should work.
