AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

We have a beta build 330 which you can use to test some of the things Roy is doing with the Tree Editor

Build 330 - 64 bit

Build 330 - 32 bit

Changes effective with Build 330

Bug Fixes

  • Certain trees may not scale properly when using the "Randomize" feature.

Changes & Features

  • The UI for Complex plant type has been reworked to make it more understandable. I'm still working in this area so I haven't yet sent the changes out to be translated for non-english users. Some english may be present in the foreign languages versions, and some labels may not make a lot of sense in these versions.
  • The default Complex plant type looks more like a tree. Much easier to work with.
  • The render engine for the Tree Editor has been switched to the Hybrid Engine for performance reasons.
  • The OpenGL display should be more responsive.
  • Added a persistent Units setting. You can now choose between Imperial and Metric. Overall plant dimensions are given in feet or meters. Leaf and flower dimensions are given in inches or millimeters.
  • Display and controls can now be sized independently.

Try it out and let us know what you think.

Has anyone had a chance to look at this yet?

I put some notes on the changes here:

Try out the new complex tree logic and give us some feedback.

Complex Plant Shape.jpg

Is there much of a difference between the old nxt and the new one?

The make more responsive in terms of panning and zooming also the render is now hybrid so rendering is faster.

Complex tree is also better too.

will this down load work with my old nxt?

If you have renewed your license, curing 2013, for nXtRender, then you can use the new nXtRender.

Otherwise the later version you can use is Build 318 from December 2012.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
