AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I inserted quite a few trees, rendered just fine with all the trees. Closed the drawing, pulled it up the next day, rendered again and all the trees disappeared. What could be the problem? See attached image.

Looks like I know what the problem is. I found out that INSUNITS matters, a lot! Never had to worry about INSUNITS being UNITLESS. When I changed it to INCHES, the trees showed back up.

Now the problem is all my materials that have been assigned are now the wrong scale. They are VERY LARGE numbers. Anyway to globally fix them?

Something else is likely up with this drawing.  I'm pretty sure Unitless will default to meters which should still work fine with the trees-- although the scale will be wrong.  It's also possible that explicitly setting the insertion scale may correct whatever the initial problem was.

No, there's no way to globally scale the materials.  If you're using unusual values for things like Tile Size in the material editor, that's a clue that your units are probably not correct.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
