AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Anyone have success using any of ArchVision's animated RPC's with the latest experimental build (317)? Thanks - John

i will test one fountain with person walking this weekend, i will publish the results

I've had no luck so far with quick animations of a person, a tree and a fountain.

I wouldn't spend too much time on it-- it's very likely not working.  I should have some more time next week to take a closer look.

Thanks Roy...

I haven't forgotten about this stuff.  Scott has some info. for me and is traveling this week-- it may be next week before I can really try it out.

Looks like this will require an update from Archvision.  I am in contact with them and they're currently deciding how to distribute an updated plugin.  Please do not contact them about this-- they are working on it.  With the updated plugin (which only I have access to), Path-based animations are currently working.  I'm taking a look at 3d slide shows to see if I can make the animated RPCs work with this type of animation as well.

How do you achieve this path-based animations?

Not sure what you mean. There are a couple of animation options currently in nXt-- 3d slides and path.  I haven't decide if the fountains and things will work for the 3d slide type.  I'm not planning on doing object animation in AutoCAD.

I thought your path based animation meant assigning a Rpc (like a walking person or moving car)  to a path and as it moves along the path animates did not know you meant the camera moving along the path. Looking forward to RPC's being animated in the near future.

Nope-- no plans for animated objects in AutoCAD-- either RPC or otherwise.  The fountains should work (depending on Archvision.)
