Can't save Render images

Does anyone know what is causing the problem which does not allow me to save out my rendered image?

I'm guessing you're running a 32 bit OS and running out of address space due to a high-resolution rendering. You have a few choices:

1. Save to an .nXtImage native format. You can then use the image editor to read and save out images. This format doesn't require any intermediate storage so you may get away with it.

2. Make sure your system is set up for 3GB of address space.

3. Switch to a 64 bit OS and 64 bit AutoCAD + nXT. This is the true solution to the problem.

I set up the Autosave and that seems to have sorted it.

Only because it's saving .nXtImages. This will work up to a point-- if you raise the resolution or the complexity of the model it may fail again. Step 2 and 3 may be important.
