Water I opened the defocusing , why not around to see it ?

I don't understand the question yet.

Turn on reflective caustics in the material editor (for the water).   e4 only.

The above diagram caustics are open, but still no effect .Do not know what the reason ?

Did you check Reflective Caustics in the material editor for the water material?  This only works with e4.

I don't think this matters-- but you certainly want the Highlight Intensity (on the page you've shown above) to be 1.0.  It might make a difference.

It should be working-- it's very hard to tell what the problem is without the model.  You can send me the model if it's practical.  Otherwise here are a few things to try (use a very simplified version of your model if possible):

  • Make sure a lot of direct sunlight is hitting the water surface-- caustics work better with intense focused light.
  • Change the sunlight angle around-- make the sun high in the sky.
  • Try turning off the skylight using lighting channels and just using the direct sunlight portion.  The image will not be good, but you may be able to tell if the caustics are present.
  • Try making the water material out of opaque chrome to see if more reflection is needed.  That may offer a clue.
  • Try a different pattern on the water surface, such as Pyramid-- to see if you get more caustics.

Roy Hirshkowitz, thank you , I upload my model to you .

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
