How to save view

Why do I save a good view of a file is opened again when the view has changed, please advise, thank you

I'm not sure what you're asking.

 

To save a view, use the button to the right of the list and name the view.

To restore the view, select the view from the list.

If you want the view to be perfectly fixed, you'll need to set the resolution to something other than Viewport.  I don't know if this is the problem here-- I'm just guessing.

 

Orthographic views cannot be saved in WalkAbout.  This could also be a source of the problem.
