advanced rendering for AutoCAD
Hi Guys
i hope someone can point me in the right direction here, i am doing an internal image as a night scene. so i have a few lights in the model but for some reason when i set it to render half of the lights dont show up as being turn on, so it ruins the whole scene. Any ideas?
thanks guys.

depending on the number of lights you have in the scene, NXT renders (be default) eight lights every pass. So if you have more than eight lights you do not expect them all to render immediately in the first pass.
thanks mate, so after a few passes they should show up right? the image looks a bit funny, i have had to turn the sun on a get some natural light in there and combine it with some lighting fixtures. do you have any other tips for internal lighting? thanks for replying mate.
Model the wall, put in your lights, then render and make adjustments as necessary. When all is done and ok. Bring in the furnitures. Meanwhile check Peter Milner Sample Office.
cool, thanks man.
Yes all other lights will come up later and also, with lights use real world units when specifying, the luminance of lighting fixtures.
what do you mean about real world unit?
The same wattage that would be produce had you bought the bulb from the store.
ohh, yeh ive done that on all the lights. thanks again man
