Hi, does anyone knows, if it's possible to recover the legacy AR4 plant library? When I try to do it, the only things I get, are the materials from the plants, but any plants. Thanks.
Groundcover doesn't work-- most everything else should work OK. Use Widgets->Add Legacy Plant... You'll need to make sure nXt can find paths to all of the support files-- that part can be a bit tricky-- there are opacity maps, materials, plant libs, etc..
Is there a way to display a thumbnail of the legacy plants during this import process (Either during a selection search or import?) It's hard to know what plan't is which without knowing the exact name of what you want. For example, there are 20 different Joshua trees in the ar2 library. Most all are very different. Now its trial and error until you get the right one. Or I use the AR4 explorer to bounce back and forth for a preview. Some may not have AR4 loaded.
I have not done an AR4 tree legacy import recently (on the newer builds) but if all your paths are valid and you do not have "too many" plants (whatever that means) then they should work.
If you do get "fuzzy" or weird plants check your origin and scale as these at one time did have an effect.
(This may have been fixed already)
This is a remake of one of Peter Milner's scenes. I dont have the file. I photo-matched it in sketchup and rendered in nxt render for autocad.I just retouched it and increased the resolution.

An office render i did recently.Critics and comments are welcome. Its one of the frames of a walkthrough animation i did recently.I used sketchup to model, exported to autocad and rendered with nxt render.
