AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

  1. I set a rendering with Packet trace and start render. When am O.K without stopping the render I minimize the rendering window and walkabout and check the Path Tracer Box in the Advance tab nxt annd autocad crashes to desktop immediately.
  2. I set a rendering, with autosave (at 10 passes interval ) and the maximum passes say at 100. Rendering stops at 100 but the last rendering saved is at 90. Could we have the last rendering saved too instead of having to set it at 101. Often lost 10 passes that way.
  3. Set up a rendering an 2 above and before the target is reached I decide to increase the number of passes to say 200, I do that while the rendering is going on and I save in AutoCad for good measure. I am not sure, but I believe in builds back it continues to the new target point of 200 but with this latest build it stops at the initial target of 100. If am wrong about the previous build can we have it do so in the next build as at times I come back in the morning only to have the rendering stopped earlier than I anticipated.

(1) is a known issue-- don't switch engines while rendering.  I'll put (2) on the list.  No to (3)-- changing render setting while rendering does not affect the current rendering.
Thanks. As to no. 3 the only setting changed is the stop number passes, same from 100 to 200, nothing else is changed.
I know.  The way I'm probably going to "fix" #1 (which has been on the to do list for a while) is to gray out the entire rendering settings pane while a rendering is minimized.
Now, that's hard!
