AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I seem to be having problems when trying to set the size of the render window in autocad. I have set up views for each render I want to complete, but I can't seem to find a render viewport?? I noticed in walkabout you can set the pixel size of the Image which would work but when I import my views from autocad they are all in perspective when some views I need are parallel projections which I am finding very frustrating as under tight deadlines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WalkAbout is perspective only.  Orthographic views are not recommended in nXt, but if you must they do work most of the time.  If you want to use a fixed pixel size (for example, 1024 x 768) and would like your view to closely match AutoCAD's, you can use a Layout (paperspace) to create properly formatted viewports for your rendering.  Set the pixel size on the Render Settings tab and create an mview with the correct proportions.  Make sure to make your viewport current by typing _MSPACE before starting a rendering.

Rendering from Layout, that's a good one, will give it a try.

This is a remake of one of Peter Milner's scenes. I dont have the file. I photo-matched it in sketchup and rendered in nxt render for autocad.I just retouched it and increased the resolution.
