advanced rendering for AutoCAD
Triangular Decal
I'm trying to use a Triangular decal in my rendering. The scenario is attaching a graphic to the gable end of a tent. The graphic is triangular. When I use Planar mapping and choose the three points it's using a four point system. Does anyone know how to use 3 points to map triangular?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Put the decal in a square or rectangle. That way you have four points to click, with the parts outside the triangle as an alpha channel which is transparent.
