That's how I often get a shadowing effect on product renderings. I also get accused of using photoshop to get them (which I don't).
It's a great feature of Nxt.

- Turn the ground plane on.
- Select the ground plane in AutoCAD.
- On the Object Properties tab, check Alpha Channel.
- Render.
"Shadows" from the car will be incorporated into the Alpha channel. To see this during the rendering, right click on the rendering display and select Show Alpha Channel.

It's not bad-- by using an alpha channel ground plane you may be able to get some shadows on the road.
