Ok guys, here is the curtains' file!

it took me awhile to find out that "add textured mesh objects" from the widget menu was the easiest way to import these things :-(

you can find a lot of free curtains on archive3d Alejandro. Maybe this one?

@Marc and Jan: yes, I think Jan is right: curtains may be modeled with some modifier of 3ds max.
@Alejandro: seguro amigo! La semana prox te las voy a mandar. Ahora ando medio complicado con el trabajo y no me da el tiempo.

Thanks, Miguel and Jan, my question was about the curtain.

I think you need something like "cloth modifier" in 3ds max to get this kind of realism Marc.

@Marc: Hi Marc, the model of the gazebo itself is done entirely in ACAD with solids (extrusion), as well as the carpet (this is a solid with the same shape of a png - derived from PShop and applied as decal on a displacement black material). The bench and the plant were downloaded from the google sketchup model library (I suspect that they were importet from a 3ds file). Curtains were downloaded from archive3D.

So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
