There's an nXt (for AutoCAD 2011) add-on for manipulating background images called Image Wizard (or Image Layer Manager depending on where you look in the nXt User Manual).  I can't find a way to…Continue

"We don't have any installations for AR4 or distributions for the AccuStudio libraries. We don't think McNeel has anything either. Do you have the old libraries on backup or on the old machine?"

Old AccuStudio Libraries Available?

I'm moving an old Acad2004 with AR4 installation over to a new computer.  I opened an old rendering on the new computer and noticed most of the AccuStudio materials were missing in the Materials tab... so I'm guessing I need to reinstall all that stuff. I remember being able to download material and plant libraries from the old AccuStudio website.  I looked there and it appears the "old stuff" has all been converted to the current format.  Anybody know where I can get the old format AccuStudio…See More

"We used to have a command NXTB which loaded a toolbar which had a button for the Image Wizard. It appears to have stopped working. We will fix that in the next version we post, and add another way to get to it w/o having to load anything else."

Image Wizard Access

There's an nXt (for AutoCAD 2011) add-on for manipulating background images called Image Wizard (or Image Layer Manager depending on where you look in the nXt User Manual).  I can't find a way to access it without having to use "The Ribbon" in AutoCAD, which has an icon to access it.  To get at it using "Classic AutoCAD" techniques...I first load AR5 (nXt) and then go the Materials menu page os the Palette at the right side of my screen.I then open the Layer Schemes routine via the icon just…See More

"I was able to add the download file names to a list in Norton Internet Security to tell it to ignore them when checking downloads.  Apparently, most Norton programs will allow you to manually add "safe" download filenames to a list."

Rich Hart replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"The trick to just change the DPI in PhotoShop is to uncheck Resample Image.  Then the number of pixels in the image remains the same. This is explained here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/image-size-resolution.html"

Rich Hart replied to Andrew Uno's discussion Help: Need to increase the DPI of nXtRenderings
"Right. You can use a program like PhotoShop to specify that the DPI is 300. That doesn't change the number of pixels in the image, but simply changes the size that it prints to. You would want to use the same program that your art department…"
