AR3 "Daylight" Fixtures...

I just opened an older interior model in AR5 that I last worked on in Acad2004 and AR4.  There are a bunch of AR3 "daylight" fixtures over all the exterior wall openings.  They don't appear in the…Continue

I typically create new or add ArMaterials (from a library of materials I'm building) to whatever model I'm currently working on.  I change my mind on materials along the way and when I'm finished, I…Continue

Adjust Groundcover Color?

I've gone into the AR5 Plant Editor and created a groundcover.  I've traced the rather intense color of the groundcover to Leaf001.png.  If it referred to a JPG, I suppose I could edit the JPG in…Continue

Material Library "Slides"

When I loaded AccuRender nXt back in 2011, I remember using a wizard to convert my old AR3 (maybe AR4) MLIBs.  I used to able to search for materials in AR5 and there were "slides" showing the…Continue

AR3 "Daylight" Fixtures...

I just opened an older interior model in AR5 that I last worked on in Acad2004 and AR4.  There are a bunch of AR3 "daylight" fixtures over all the exterior wall openings.  They don't appear in the AR5 Lights list, and they don't appear to doing anything when I render in AR5.  I'm guessing the nXt platform wasn't set up to handle those (for some reason I'd never be able to understand... so don't bother explaining).  What I'd like to know is whether there is something in AR5 that might be called…See More

"Use AutoCAD's purge command.  The AccuRender materials are just AutoCAD materials with some extra data on them-- they have "accurender" as a prefix. Right click on accurender's material list and select Refresh after this to…"

Delete Unused Materials?

I typically create new or add ArMaterials (from a library of materials I'm building) to whatever model I'm currently working on.  I change my mind on materials along the way and when I'm finished, I typically have about twice as many materials than the ones that are actually assigned to layer names in the model.  Is there a way to "purge" unused materials along the way or when finished?See More

Adjust Groundcover Color?

I've gone into the AR5 Plant Editor and created a groundcover.  I've traced the rather intense color of the groundcover to Leaf001.png.  If it referred to a JPG, I suppose I could edit the JPG in Photoshop to cut the color saturation back.  Is there a way to change the color saturation of the Leaf PNGs in the Plant Editor? See More
