"Maybe some administration rights in particular folders could cause that. Check the destination folder's read-write security properties in windows explorer. If needed, add yourself in the list of full read write rights users."

Saving Rendered Images

I've been using Accurender 4 running in AutoCAD 2006.  Both are 32 bit programs which I have running in Windows 10 64 bit, using Longbow Converter.  It has actually been working pretty well, but suddenly I can't get it to save rendered images.  I tell it to save, but then the saved file does not show up in the directory which I have saved it to.As I said, it had been working well, and I had been saving images without any problems, but now it just won't save them.  I don't know what changed.Any…See More

Profile Information

A bit about me

My name is Tom.  I am a retired architect.  I managed to salvage AutoCAD 2006 and AccuRender 4 when I retired.  Since both are 32-bit systems, I have them running on Windows XP (AutoCAD won't even install on a 64-bit operating system, I tried both in Win 7 and Win 10).

So anyway, I am keeping some very old and outdated programs running, but just for personal projects which have no commercial value to anyone but me.  At best I am semi-proficient in AutoCAD and Accurender.  I'll post some renderings on here when I'm finished working on the current project, which is a "retirement" house that is "net-zero" energy consumption.

"Hmm, I guess we'll have to use decals. Just that the decal needs to be applied to each object, instead of selecting them all and applying as a material, which will be much much faster when I have more than 30-40 objects to which the material…"

Material with stretch map (not tile)

Is there any way to create a material where the image map stretches across the object, instead of tiling? For example, the attached image "Jaali.jpg" is the material map I want to stretch across any object I apply it to. But it always seems to tile it across the object, as shown in the "Sample output.jpg".I can't use the object decal option, since the object that the material is applied to is not always the same (i.e., it can be applied to multiple objects and the size of these objects are not…See More
