AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi all.

I have recently downloaded the evaluation version of nXt, in the hope that I can produce some renders to convince my boss to part with some of his cash.

I'm actually hoping to get a computer system more suited to rendering, as well as getting the full nXt render software.

I have attached one of my first attempts. (please remember, this is the evaluation version, so limited resolution)

Any advice/tips would be most welcome. Incidentally, I have only started trying to produce renders of any kind in the last month, so try to word your replies as if you were explaining to a ten year old !

Many thanks

Tim

Set up a meeting with the boss,....you're ready.

You may want to play with the materials you are using,......the table tops would have some reflection as would the plastic chairs. Experiment with the reflection settings for these two materials (may be the same material).

Thanks Chas, I was thinking of doing that actually. need to keep playing to see the physical effect of each perameter. Probably a better idea to try on a smaller drawing though.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
