AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello everyone,

I've inserted a satellite image into my 3d model and scaled it to fit properly in the orientation. When I render, the image is not there. Does anyone know an easy way to render with a satellite image to scale?

Thanks,

Tom

Tom, did you apply the map as a decal to a 3d object first?

I did, but it doesn't render the proper scale of the photo on the 3d object. If I insert the satellite image as a raster image reference and scale the image, it works perfectly to view the model overlay. But attaching the graphic to the exact size of the scaled image it doesn't keep the scale factor for some reason......... I guess I could always render the model and use photoshop to put the graphic underlay in. Just thought an easier method might be available.

The way you described should work just fine. I haven't had or heard of a problems like yours. If you would like to upload the image, I'll try it here on my end for you.

Do you try to make a material with your image and make a 3d face ground plane, scale the material same dim like your 3d face then apply.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
