AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Being working with metric all my life, now the drawings need to be in feet and inches.

Is there a way of just converting an existing metric drawings such that all the dimensions appears in 5ft 6in (5' 6'') without having to redraw?

In drawing a new drawing what will the dimmension style settings be to appear in 5' 6'' format?

Try using alternate units. DIMALT on... that will display both units. You also have to set DIMALTF (the factor 0.03937) and DIMALTU (the units = 6 for Architectural feet & inches)

Thanks for the input, my major problem is that the converts do not tally (see attached)

What you will want to do since you are not using Alternate units is change the DIMLFAC from 1.0 to 0.03937.

How do you use Alternate units

Look at the first reply from me on this thread. This will display both the Metric and Imperial units on a single dimension line.

Got this part too. I was always delecting the style overides so I did not see it. Also thinking it will change the already dimension metric in prime not knowing it will be effected in the new dimensions to be drawn.

Finally got it thank you. This what I wanted.

go to units and change your metrics draw  into feet and inches.

Know this and I have dine it only the values are not correct.
