AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello all,

I have nxt and am playing with the texture set materials, I really have no background in this and am really just guessing.  Problem is I have a set of Arroway wood textures which come with a diffuse map, bump map and reflectivity map.  When I try to create a texture set material from nxt I can only see a choice for a bump map not a diffuse or reflectivity map.  I am assuming that they are there just named something else.  Could someone help me with the nxt equivalent of the diffuse and reflectivity maps?

Thanks

Malcolm

Start a new Texture Set material and select all three files when prompted-- see where it places them automatically-- it should speak arroway.  Diffuse will be called Color, Bump stays the same-- reflectivity is the wildcard here.  If it works it will probably  be called specular-- you may not want it.

If these are hi-res maps consider reducing their resolution.   For most applications you can reduce the res. of arroway's hi-quality maps substantially and they'll be much easier to deal with.

Hola...

There is a online tutorial at Accustudio written several years ago. Hopefully this is of some help.
