AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I have a drawing where the decals are fine under packet tracer, but dissapear when rendered with path tracer.

All support paths are okay and legacy data is updated.

Windows Vista 64 bit, ACAD 2011, latest nXt build.

Other drawings are fine.

Send it if you can. You'll need to include the decal bitmaps since these are not embedded.  I'll be out of town from  12/23 to 12/31-- I may not get to this until January.

Done.

The problem occurs when the decal is contained within a block.

Explode the block and the decal appears.

I have several more drawings exhibiting the same problem.

Thanks.

I have the same issue. Once the block is exploded, all renders fine.

Win XP 64, ACA2012, nXt 283 (although this has happened in previous builds as well)

Got it!!!

It's connected with instancing and path tracer.

As soon as the number of blocks reaches 5, the decals disappear.

Good work-- I haven't had time to touch this yet.

Any progress on this one yet?

It's working-- sort of-- at least both engines are working (or not working) consistently.  If you embed the decal in the block by attaching it to an object inside the block, as in your example, it now works as it should.  However, if you attach the decal to the block insertion (INSERT object) it only works until the instancing threshold of 5 is hit.  Like I said, consistent in both engines.  I may leave it like this-- haven't decided yet.

Thanks Roy.

Any idea when this fix will be available to download?

Nope.

Just looking at my list-- I may put out a fix later today.  I've got some render farm issues that I can't quite get to yet.  As you know, depending on a brand new release for production work has some risks.

Questions for nxt render for autocad

Good day everyone,Can anyone here help me with these issues i keep having with nxt render for autocad ?1. How do you bring in textured models into autocad ( 3ds and obj) without losing their textures or having to re-assign them.2. How do you move these objects from place to place without experiencing viewport refresh sluggishness in the autocad viewport ?3. How do you add dirt to fabric textures for rendering.4. How do you avoid repeat patterns in textures for rendering ?See More
