Hi Guys

does anyone know where i can get some high res material maps or a high res material library? i wanted to get hold of some maps that look more realistic.

Dosh Design textures

are three collections I use. All are commercial I think. The have some free samples to try it first.

For Free Textures,

1) Google Lemographics or Lemog - French site with a massive collection of maps in all categories. Good size, not high res.

2) CG Textures - Limit to Downloads but decent range.

3) Deviantart - All kinds of maps, textures, images - but from many sources on one site.

In all cases, you will need to create the Bump Map file yourself in Photoshop if you're thinking of making Displacement Maps.
