Looks like everybody's too busy... hehe ... to post anything here... ;)

My work dried up. Last job I rendered was a year ago. I don't even draft any more. Instead of building homes, I build websites.

Now I just play.

Nice concrete texture I must say. Mind to share Kevin? ;)

spot on George...very nice texture....

Kevin....Artist must never abandon his art....

there is an ocean water ...in old nxt material you can use .it could be ideal for water you have and will reflect the surrounding environment.

lets me know if you cant find it...I will upload it

thanks mike

Not abandoning, just changing directions. I always felt that modeling and rendering were only parts of the equation.

Thanks about the water too. I wasn't going for "clean" by any means. I tried all my waters, nothing felt right, so I figured I'd fix it in post. I need to spend more time on it. The murkier the better.

I've been playing lots of Half-Life in my off time. I got inspired. (wip)

Don't mind at all, but I must confess, A lot of it is Photoshop. The texture is Concrete 035 from Arroway.

New features to the software by the developers helps keeping the place a buzz.

Time Roy and Co, take a peek the wishlist and dive under the hood again.

I was dreading someone might tell me....they have lost the will to render in NXT....:)

Kevin

try this if you haven't already ,change size and colour to more dark greenish water and add reflection with no light source or highlight...you may want to play with bump  map or even extra bump map.

I'm using nXt every day: renderings for clients, renderings for brochures, product design visualisation etc.

I'm currently experimenting with HDRIs to get a bit more realism in my interior renderings.

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("
