AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Attached is an image showing the output from nXt build 239 rendered in AutoCAD and an identical frame rendered with Render Farm build 236. In the Render Farm output, objects appear to be affected by a clipping plane. This is repeatable. Use of different cameras produce different clipping planes on just the same objects (chairs).

Is it 236 or 239 that's failing? I.e. is the example you sent labeled incorrectly?
I didn't set a clipping plane in the model.
The example illustrates the output from the current build running in AutoCAD in the top picture. The bottom picture is the output from Render Farm.
Sorry-- missed this. Thought it was 2 different versions of the farm. I'll need a model (as simple as possible) to reproduce this since my examples are all working now. Send via the support->upload link.
I've already sent the full model....if it's too much, I'll scale it down to just the affected objects and resubmit.
Looks like a pretty nasty bug somewhere in the instancing code. It may take a while to solve this one-- I probably can't work on it for a couple of days. I need to update the farm today or tomorrow anyway since I'm not sure it's working with the most current nXt. This update will not have a fix for this problem.

In the meantime-- you can explode the offending objects (just explode the ones that aren't rendering correctly.) It also does not appear to be happening in the path tracer.

Let me know if you see anything like it on a different model.
