Sun Study Query

Hello all.

 

Im working on a Project in Quebec. Its obviously -8 GMT and the coordinates are roughly 45 North, Lat 71 Long West. Please check attached image.

 

I try rendering the image at 10AM in November for the sun study but the sun is always below the 90 Altitude so there are no shadows or sun in my render. Surely there should be sun at that time of the day anywhere in the world.

 

My Sun Study knowledge is pretty weak since Ive always based the coordinates on this side of the world with no probs.

 

Can you tell me what Im doing wrong?

Two things Birdman: Toronto is in UTC -5:00 zone (not -8) and the absolute longitude is 79.39 west, so you have to set it to -79.39. And set latitude to 43.65. Then your sun position should be OK.
