I really like the way it treats the rays of sunlight through the window.
The foggy/smokey atmosphere, not so much.

Perhaps not enough beam and to much fog?... Or for this beam density, is there too much fog? But I take it like it is...

It's just modeling the interaction of light with a participating medium. The "beam" isn't an object that's being rendered, it's a natural consequence of the algorithm.
