Marc Shaumier did great hedges on his renderings using solids with applied ground cover plant. See that one for instance. Here is grouncovers he shared back then.

the hedges are rpc plants. Unfortunately when you insert them in they come in one shape and one size.

I might change to a different plants, not rpc.....and it has to be low plant.

Really great! The only thing that looks strange are the cloned pruned shrubs on the raised flowerbed.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

Rich Hart replied to Daniel Holz's discussion PBR Textures in nxtRender for Autocad
"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
