Compromise is really not needed in our case Maciej :) One of the greatest thing my ancestors gave to mankind is the art of dialogue and the democracy. In it, everyone can express freely their thoughts, can criticize their dialogue opponents but at the same time must accept their critics as well.

You will probably hardly believe it, but I am not fan even of one of the greatest conquerors of all time, of Alexander the Great! Usual argument for his military campaign is that he'd spread Hellenic culture over the wast area of Asia Minor, Middle East, Egypt, Persian Empire etc. It is true of course, but what was the cost? Whole ancient cultures were destroyed, cities were plundered, burned and turned into ruins, thousands were captured to slavery or killed. Yes, he was brilliant army leader, his phalanx was terrifier to all of his opponents, he had founded many cities which became culture centres, many of them are still live cities, but he and his kingdom had clearly imperialistic orientation. So, as in the case of NB there is 50-50 pros and cons as you'd already very aptly pointed. And everyone is free to decide which part is more significant for him :) Cześć.

Well, the only thing I agree with George - that's why I love discussions.

About Mister N - the ratio of Pro & contras about Napoleon is about 50% - 50%... George stays obviously for NO, and I am one of Napoleon's Fans, I am afraid... Apparently Compromise will be pretty hard to achieve... And "strong" was more for "mental-strong" I guess...

BTW - I know what you mean, I used to live on one of the Island on Baltic Sea for couple of months.

Napoleon B. was strong due to hundreds of thousands of men his army had and had sent them to certain death. For what? Did he does it all just because of his own ambition for glory and power? Certainly not only for that... He was just another one imperialistic and militaristic piece of $hit pushed and supported by capital wanting more profit, as war always was the best business of all. Sorry Maciej, I do not consider NB a big man. ;)

As for living on island, don't have in mind just the tourist's guide pictures of Greek islands during summer. The winter there is really difficult, especially on the small and distant ones. And I know that really well, believe me :)

"Living on an Island makes you lonely.

Loneliness makes you strong"

Generally don't prefer islands, visiting them only as a tourist. To live there? No, thanks :D Maybe just on a big one, like Crete or Cyprus. Kos is beautiful island though, as are most of Greek islands too.

No displacement on the grass Jorge, it is pp in GIMP :) (see method I recently described in another thread).

You are right about the polymer Mike. I don't like it either. It is so easy to break it accidentally or open a hole in it (yes, some birds really love to do so and to build nests in the insulation :) ) Moreover, its lifetime period is ridiculously short compared to classic stucco of our old times. And what if you want to use some nice cornices and other decorative things for elevations? Real pain in the ... well, you know where.

About the glass canopy: I was lazy about modelling all of the supporting metal parts (which is like this one). Normally I'd do that, but it's summertime and the sea is so invitingly calling :D
