Exactly.

For the most part I have stopped using RPCs as well. The only content used are cars.

1. Planting can be very subjective and there is simply not enough content to satify most projects.

2. Placement of RPCs can only be tested once you do a test rendering and moving a plant, tree, bush etc around until they are just right is tedious at best.

3. When all of this is done on PS everything is done in real time plus you can modify brightness, contrast, color, shape and even shadows to get the end result you want in a fraction of the time. I will say it takes alot of practice but I feel its worth the time and effort.

As far as I can remember there is ArchVision plugin for AutoCAD. You can insert your RPC content into Acad drawings and render it in nXt. Personally I stopped using RPCs for quite a long time now.

Also, I remember there was a discussion in this forum about the squared shadow of RPC and the incomplete transparency issue as well. Try to search through archive of threads.

I will be attempting this soon also. My previous work has not needed to be very accurate and I now have to step up on my details. I will be attempting to make rpc's in the next 2 weeks. My content that I referred to is also photoshop

Thats's right. But what I'm struggling with is to place RPC using nXt,so shadows, indirect lights could be calculated.  Any idea how to do this?

Would /could it still be considered an rpc even if is placed in photoshop. As "planar content"?

Well... Anyway, very well done.

Hi Maciej... there were no RPCs used in the image. All planting, grass and sky are done in photoshop.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
