Nice hobby, especially when well payed :) I wish I could have customers willing to pay me for my renderings :D

The real resolution is 1920x1200 pixels but I think when the pictures are uploaded they are automatically resized and downgraded in quality. Probably because of saving space on the server. At first, I used the build in render in AutoCAD but it was even slower and you can see the result after hours of computation thanks to the one pass render engine. Unfortunately, I don't know another plug in render for AutoCAD and I don't have time to learn another stand alone software for rendering. Mainly I'm building custom furniture for cosmetic companies and usually I have a lot of jobs, so rendering to me is more like paid hobby.

For image of resolution of the posted one (1400 × 875 pixels)? Way too long render time. To tell the truth, nXt speed was the ONLY reason I practically stopped to use it and am using different one now for my job.

Thank you! Yes, it's too much. But is difficult to determine the glossiness, in the beginning, it changes with the number of the passes and gets duller. My computer is not fast enough to do more renders to the final stage so I can get the perfect result. For example, this picture took me 8-9 hours to complete.

Beautiful work!

I  think that wood finish is way to reflective. Would expect more diffuse (blurry reflecting) surface there.

Thank you very much! It took quite a few hours.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
