AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I went through a whole exercise of progressively nesting some light fixtures and they were working great during the test even coming through to the main drawing from an xref.  Then having decided that they could be nested two deep and work I did some other work on the drawing.  Next thing I knew I could not get the lights to work unless I denested them.  Any ideas?

They should still work (as in emitting light and glowing)-- I just doubly-nested a light to make sure.  They will not appear in the light list and you won't have any control over them.  In nXt, un-nested lights are elemental light sources and have full editing capability.  Singly-nested lights are called "luminaires" and have some editing capabilities.  Nesting levels beyond that offer no control and do not appear in the list.

The first degree nestedness known as luminaires, how can we assign channels to them and to what degree of editability is its capacity.
Looks like you can't change its channel-- might be useful to.  I'll put it on the list.
Thanks a lot. That will my life a lot easier, I usally edit the X-Ref within the drawing it is inserted to assign a channel.
Oddly when I got back to it today I found that the nested lights would glow if I turned their visibility on in the original xrefed drawing, but will not actually emit light until I unnested them one level in the xref.  So It appears that that there may ba some factor that allows them to be visible but not emitting.
