AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

License no longer valid with latest build, please help.

Good day,

I have installed the latest build "OC12w 1.0" with my license. I am getting the message: "Validation Status: 21 days left for trial mode". I bought my license in January 2013.

The previous build "OA30w 1.0" works fine, It is only after installing the latest build "OC12w 1.0" that I am prompted with the trial period message.

Please advise.

Thank you and regards,

Your license was good for the then current version of nXtRender, and all new versions for 12 months.

You can either renew your license to use the latest version, or continue to use version OA30w with your old license. until you are ready to renew.

If you need to renew, you can renew at this URL:

We are no longer distributing the Add-Ons for nXtRender.

We were distributing them to see if there was any interest in any of them, but we are now just including any we add in the new versions of nXt Render.

The only Add On that ended up being included was the Layer Material Schemes routine, nor available on the Layers panel.

Hello,

At the time of the purchase of my license for nxtrender, I had access to download add-ons. Now, as I understand from your answer (by e-mail) to my previous question above, the add-ons are directly integrated in the newer version of nxtrender – and not even all the add-ons that we previously had access to, but only a select few.

In another post (on December 17th, http://accurender.ning.com/forum/topics/where-do-i-downloading-add-...), you have stated that the add-on link on the download page was pulled down while you are working on getting all functions working with the latest version. As I have pointed out, this seems to be no longer the case. What has changed?

This is unacceptable, one of the major factors in the decision making to buy your product was the access to these add-ons. Regardless that the add-ons (select few) are now part of the newer version of nxtrender, I should still have access to download them for the previous version that I have bought and am still using.

Please make the add-ons package available for us who are still using the previous version.

Thank you and regards,

The Addons should already be included in the OA30 of nXt.

After typing in NXT to load the nXt panel and modules, type in NXTB to load the Addons dialog.

Please try that. I just reinstalled the OA30 version here to make sure that that was working and it loaded fine for me.

The only 2 Addons that were not incorporated in nXt are the Image Wizard for background image positioning and the Render Ready dialog which places some lights and mirrors which are downloaded from the 3D Warehouse. Please let me know if you find those useful, we had not heard from anyone who had used them.

Need instructions on using the first, the second is quite straigh forward.

I don't think we ever did post any AutoCAD specific instructions for the Image Wizard.

The Image Wizard was originally created as a tool for our SketchUp rendering plugin. We did post instructions and a video tutorial for it, but were targeted for the SketchUp plugin users. They might still be helpful in explaining how it works though. It's the same dialog, and it's just used to graphically set the position and scale of the background image.

The instructions for it are here: http://www.renderplus.com/wp2/wk/Image_Layer_Wizard.htm

Here is the video:

http://www.renderplus.com/wp2/wk/Background_Wizard_Video.htm

Please try it and let me know if there is anything we need to do to make it more useful for nXtRender.

- I do not understand -SketchUp-  ???

We port the AccuRneder nXt rendering engine to 3 CAD systems, AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp. SketchUp is described here:

Will give it a shot.
