Dump Radeon and get some serious video card like NVidia (GTX 1070 or 1080).

Did you examine the new AMD Ryzen CPUs? Look quite powerful.

Windows 10 pro is OK, not having any problems so far, with any software, even an older ones.

If you have software that you may or may not "own", 10 will not let it run.  if it cannot authenticate it, its dead.

Still running 8.1 at home (and love it!)

What do you mean Kevin? 10 turned into software piracy police now? Didn't know that... :)

I had 10 installed for about 30 minutes before I noticed that a couple of my programs weren't loading. Then got a pop-up telling me why.  Reverted back to 8.1 and have been happy ever since.

Telling about not being compatible with the new OS or not being properly licensed? Between those two alternatives are abyssal difference I think. Never got this kind of message (about not being licensed OK) after the upgrade form WIN7 64bit to WIN10 64bit on any of my (3) computers. Should I start to feel lucky? ;)

All softwares work if installed on wins 8 and ungrade to 10. Like Kevin said, some will not install directly on Wins 10. Iobit start menu 8 is one and Corel X3 is another.

Kevin you probably mean the Windows 10 smartscreen function. I think it can be disabled anyway.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
