AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Can anybody show me where to get trees for AR5.

I got some from the download section, but they seem pretty limited compared with AR4. Is this something which will be added to AR5 or can the legacy ar4 trees be used?

Hope somebody can help.

You can use the tree editor to modify any of the Nxt plants to create your own or start from scatch. The plants from AR4/AR3 do work but I believe you need to insert them from the AR4 interface. You also need to be sure the paths are mapped to the textures. In the Nxt interface it is the crossed tools button (options) in the upper right corner under the search paths tab.
You can use old ar4 trees, Widgets < plants> add legacy plants. I never tried but I hear some people use this feature.

Cheers,

This is very helpful, i pulled in the range of trees i could find on my hard drive.

Thanks again

Glenn

Here's the help file stuff on plants.  There's a section on legacy plants at the bottom which includes some important info.-- particularly if legacy AR is not installed on your machine.

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
