AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello, dont know how many of the old guard from the AR3 NG are here but around 10 years back I started my professional life in a firm with Ar3.

Now post recession, I would like to see if Nxt can fill the void in a new firm.

So here are my first questions

1) I dloaded the trial version but I cant get it to work both on the office PC (Win 7 64 Bit Acad 2007) or home pc (Vista 64 Bit Acad 2008). I tried even the manual add but I get the message (Ünable to load XXX file). Any idea whats up?

2) Migrating Ar3 Libraries

The only way I was able to make reasonably nice looking renders was primarily by creating my own libraries and textures. Is it easy to migrate the years of effort into Nxt?

Thats it for now.

Cheers

Sure! But why! ;)

Just the current state of affairs.

I got my tin foil hat on now and I'm in the US.

Glad to see you back.

I use all my old materials, some need a little tweeking and you always have to check to be sure textures and procedurals made the conversion. I've got to really relying on the new features of Nxt.

Yep, the materials bit was my primary concern, they helped get somewhat serious renders done albeit with some Pshop work. There are so many materials Ive made based on contributions from other members as well. I've got to really relying on the new features of Nxt. - Thats really encouraging for me.

Yes, the situation is very odd for the place, but completely overblown and skewed in the intl media. I also hate to see other nations being dragged unnecessarily into it. I also pray for the safety for all sides concerned here. As an Expat, Im keeping my head down! :)

Same one I believe. Welcome back.
Cheers!

Once you are set go, with Nxt let's see if we could invited so of the folks here too to deviantarts.com

Sure, that'll be good but I haven't been there for some time. Theres always a potential.

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
