AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello guys

I have been working on the 2 Renderers for a simple Interior Scene.

What Id like to know is

- How to optimize the Quality vs Time Ratio in both Renderers?

- How to tweak the Original Renderer for dark areas etc. Do I need to tag areas like we used to in Ar3?

For example, I believe if I Render an Interior Scene with Sunlight + Lights On, it may take longer than Sunlight only.

I really like the Pathtracer but how to resolve the image faster?

regards

Try using Blurry Transparency set to 0.8. It may give you a smoother finish.

It also works well with thin surfaces.

Noted. Thanks!

I actually have a similar question about the difference between path tracer and standard rendering:

I personally found the path tracer a little bit "forced", for instance in the second picture the reflections on the pool on the walls look to me exsagerate! A mix between the two pics would be fine, I think!

Yes. I think if one has time, a combo can be good!

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
