Assign Material Problem

Hello

 

I tried to search the archives but nothing similar seemed to be on.

 

I had modelled a single housing unit and had assigned materials successfully.

 

After I Wblocked it into a small cleaner file, and then multiplied the housing x 3 by mirroring, I realized that the Timber Pergolas (as indicated in the image) arent getting the Dark  Timber Assignment (similar to the beams in other parts of the image)

 

Why is that?

 

I have tried replicating the same material and reassigning and double checked the Right Material is assigned to the Right Layer.

 

Any ideas?

Try using the Remove Material from Object... button on the Material Tab.  We sometimes see an inadvertent ByObject assignment, either to main objects or sub-objects.  This button causes all objects and sub-objects to revert to ByLayer material assignment.
